Federico M. Bandi, PhD (Economics, Yale University), is the James Carey Endowed Professor in Business. He joined the Johns Hopkins Carey Business School in 2009. Nicholas Tilipman, PhD

Nicholas Tilipman is an assistant professor at the Johns Hopkins Carey Business School. His research focuses on the intersection of health care economics and industrial organization. In particular, Dr. Tilipman studies the effects of competition and regulation on the behavior of employers, insurers, and providers. His research has appeared in numerous academic journals, including general interest economics journals, field economics journals, and health policy journals. Prior to coming to Johns Hopkins, Dr. Tilipman was an assistant professor at the University of Illinois at Chicago. He served

As a solo entrepreneur or on a team of two or three students, present your business venture to a panel of faculty, investors, and industry experts. Five of the top teams receive seed funding to develop their concept, meet monthly with an industry mentor, and receive valuable investor feedback. Our students have completed 200+ on-site projects around the world. If you prefer to stay close, you can collaborate with Johns Hopkins experts across the university and hospital, and tap into Baltimore and Washington, D.C.’s vibrant innovation networks to make an impact in one of the nation’s largest metropolitan areas.

Global Immersion at Johns Hopkins Carey Business School is an elective course that takes students out of the classroom and exposes them to today’s biggest international business questions and intricacies. Carey students have traveled to destinations such as Santiago, Chile to gain insight into business trends and opportunities on topics like sustainability, innovation, and health care.

FT MS Group Coaching: In Person (HE)

Our Career Education for FTMS: Group Coaching In-person sessions are a great opportunity for FT MS students to meet 1:1 with a career coach for quick conversations without having to schedule an appointment. This is a great opportunity to see what career coaching is like and get some real-time feedback for whatever questions are on your mind regarding your career. Available 12:30-1:30 p.m. EST with Katie Pluemer on the Harbor East campus (2nd Floor, Pod #5) every Tuesday starting January 24 and ending on May 2, 2023 in the Spring Semester.
