Johns Hopkins Carey Business School facilitates mentoring opportunities for students looking to connect with their peers and professionals who are open to sharing their skills, knowledge, and experiences. These mentoring programs provide valuable support as students pursue their academic and career goals.

OneHop Mentoring is Johns Hopkins University’s platform for students to connect with alumni for flash mentoring opportunities. Students can search for alumni who share similar professional interests or are based in cities they may be considering for relocation.

Preparing for mentorship
This Mentoring @ Carey Mentor Guide will help prepare yourself as a mentor to maximize the mentoring relationship. Students have access to a mentoree guide in Career Resources on Demand in Canvas.
Micro Mentoring
Virtual affinity or industry aligned event where students meet one-on-one or in small groups with experienced Carey alumni to connect about shared interests, experiences, and career or professional development advice.

The events begin with alumni introductions, followed by small-group breakout conversations where participants have the chance to ask questions, seek advice, and learn about various career journeys. This is your chance to possible have a great conversation turn into a lasting mentoring connection.
