Christy joined the Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Lab in 2023 after 12 years leading human resources at DCS Advisory. Prior to working for DCS Advisory, she was the Head of Global Talent Management and Employment for Legg Mason, Inc, an investment management firm headquartered in Baltimore. She was responsible for leading the Global Talent Management strategy that included talent acquisition, workforce planning, learning and development, performance management, rewards and recognition, succession planning, and career planning.

Her background includes nearly 20 years in HR leadership positions, with  expertise in HR start-ups, fix-its, and business realignments for public and private companies specializing in Financial Services and Healthcare Services industries. Christy received her B.A. from Emory University and her M.B.A., with a concentration in Organization Development, from the Johns Hopkins Carey Business School.
