Clayton James is director of Business Development at Mid-Atlantic Microwave, a supplier of RF hardware components serving a broad network of DoD contractors. Previously, he was director of Operations at augmented reality startup NewSight Reality, where he connected technical teams with strategic initiatives and led collaboration with USSOCOM. A double Hopkins graduate, Clayton holds a B.Sc. in Computer Engineering from the Whiting School and an MS. in Finance from the Carey Business School, where he also co-founded the Johns Hopkins Innovation Factory to support university-affiliated startups. His career spans diverse industries—from advertising and real estate to tech and finance—all united by a focus on innovation and growth in small businesses.
