Course Offerings

You will personalize your EMBA through the specialization courses, electives, in-person residencies, and a global immersion experience, studying risk, decision making, and leadership.

Specializations

The Executive MBA has two optional specializations: Health Care and Leadership and Strategy. Deepen your expertise in one of the world’s most complex and dynamic industries, studying health systems, policy, and innovation. Or, strengthen your ability to set vision, manage transformation, and make data-driven decisions at the executive level, preparing you to guide organizations through uncertainty and drive sustainable growth.

Beyond the Classroom

Drive impact in the Executive Field Project

Work with a partner organization to solve a real world challenge

Work directly with a company of your choice to design strategies, analyze data, and recommend solutions that drive results. You’ll demonstrate executive leadership while creating tangible value to the organization or industry.

Experience leadership in an international context

Risk, decision-making, and strategy in London

Join your cohort in London and engage with executives, policymakers, and thought leaders to explore how global forces shape organizational strategy, broadening your perspective to lead across borders and cultures.

Our Executive MBA students regularly attend on-site residencies in Washington, D.C. and have a global immersion trip in the January after the start of their program.

Fall 2026 applicants may view the calendar for comprehensive dates for the cohort.

EMBA students have the opportunity to specialize in Health Care or Leadership and Strategy, but it is not required to pick a specialization.

The Fall 2026 incoming cohort will travel to London to study risk, decision making, and leadership. This course uniquely links risk, decision making, and leadership. It begins with an overview of major risk types: market, credit, operational, legal, and strategic (leadership) risks, among others. It proceeds with a discussion of decision-making paradigms (reflexive vs. rational) and ends with an exploration of leadership in the context of risk.

Tuition includes all program materials, as well as select meals and comfortable lodging during on-site residencies.
