Experiential learning with real-world impact
At Carey, experiential learning is embedded into the Real Estate and Infrastructure curriculum. It’s a cornerstone of how we prepare students for real-world success. REI students are supported and encouraged to participate in conferences, case competitions, and hands-on experiences like the annual Infrastructure Symposium hosted by Carey, where students hear firsthand from industry experts.
Experiential Capstone Project
Each year the project partners with a particular city and obtains data on a critical community infrastructure project that needs repositioning and revitalization. Students are tasked to produce a market feasibility report that will help the city’s stakeholders decide whether to pursue the project or not.
