Embracing AI inside and outside of the classroom

Azure AI Fundamentals (Microsoft certified)

Carey students in the MS in Business Analytics and Artificial Intelligence program gain real-world experience with the latest AI industry tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, GitHub Copilot, and Microsoft Azure AI Studio. Required programming courses focus on Python, R, and machine learning. Students are also trained on the inner workings of large language processing, including chatbots, near the generative-AI revolution curve. More than 90% of students in the Business Analytics and Artificial Intelligence program have already earned this credential.

Center for Digital Health and Artificial Intelligence

The Center for Digital Health and Artificial Intelligence is an academic center that conducts cutting-edge research at the intersection of digital technologies, analytics, artificial intelligence, and healthcare. CDHAI seeks to create knowledge that will facilitate and accelerate the digital transformation of healthcare and wider application of unbiased and ethical AI for health.

Human Capital Development Lab

The Human Capital Development Lab takes a cross-disciplinary look at key challenges facing human capital leaders around the world. As a development lab, the affiliated faculty strives to bridge the rigor of academic research with the pragmatic needs of business leaders, policy makers, and professional associations. Hopkins Business of Health Initiative

The Hopkins Business of Health Initiative integrates the scholarship across Johns Hopkins University—including the Carey Business School, Bloomberg School of Public Health, School of Nursing, and School of Medicine—around a shared vision of a healthier America, supported by an affordable and equitable, high-value health system. The Master of Science in Business Analytics and Artificial Intelligence program equips students with the latest analytical tools and methodologies to make informed, strategic business decisions. Students will complete the Analytics Consulting Project, typically centered on AI-based initiatives, as part of a curriculum that emphasizes both machine learning and artificial intelligence.

Information Systems and Artificial Intelligence for Business

The Master of Science in Information Systems and Artificial Intelligence for Business program focuses on the intersection of business and technology, preparing students to leverage information in IT services, AI, machine learning, and big data for success in the global marketplace.

This Executive Education course is designed to help executives and knowledge workers understand the core functions of GenAI, its evolution, and how it can be utilized for personal and corporate applications.

AI Essentials for Business (formerly Big Data: Machine Learning)

This course offers a comprehensive understanding of the mathematical and statistical foundations of big data and machine learning, emphasizing practical application through coding and financial data analysis.

AI: Principles and Business Applications

This course covers the foundations of artificial intelligence technologies with emphasis on their business application.

Data Science: Artificial Intelligence

This course introduces key concepts of AI, including its mathematical, computational, and economic foundations, and how to manage and lead businesses in the age of AI.

Generative AI

This Generative AI course prepares students to manage enterprise technology needs by acquiring advanced data analytics skills for driving business insights from large amounts of unstructured data using network analysis and deep learning.
