Karen Peetz is a seasoned financial services executive who served as Chief Administrative Officer of Citigroup from 2020 to 2023, where she led the firm’s global Transformation, Data, Controls, and Regulatory Engagement efforts. Prior to Citi, she spent nearly 20 years at The Bank of New York (BNY), ultimately serving as President and overseeing global client management, regional leadership, Human Resources, regulatory oversight, and several transaction services businesses. Karen began her career at JPMorgan Chase, where she spent 16 years in commercial lending, sales, and business management roles, including an international assignment in London. Since retiring from Citigroup, she has remained active on several corporate and nonprofit boards, including Fidelity Investments and Johns Hopkins University and Medicine. She previously served as Chair of the Board of Trustees at Penn State University and the United Way of New York City.
