What is a non-degree single course at Carey?

A non-degree course is a single, for-credit graduate business course you can take without enrolling in a full degree program.

Can I take an online business course without being in a degree program?

Yes. Carey allows students to take up to three individual online graduate courses as a non-degree learner.

How many credits can I earn as a non-degree student?

You may take up to six credits as a non-degree student, which may be transferable if you later enroll in a Carey degree program.

Are Carey’s non-degree courses fully online?

Yes. All recommended courses listed above are offered in a flexible, 100% online format.

Will non-degree courses help me prepare for an MBA or specialized master’s program?

Absolutely. Many students take a non-degree course to preview the the academic experience, build foundational skills, or strengthen their application.
