Anthony “Tony” Lewis is the region vice president of Public Policy at Verizon, responsible for leading public policy initiatives and overseeing philanthropic activities across 25 states. With over 35 years of experience, Tony has held various leadership roles at Verizon, including growing the wireless wholesale business by 400% as vice president of Wholesale Development and Operations. He began his career in 1986 at Verizon Virginia and has expertise in sales, regulatory, public policy, and network planning. Tony serves on the boards of the Johns Hopkins Carey Business School, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, and Big Brothers Big Sisters of NYC, and is chair of the board for KIPP DC. He holds a BA in Business from Elizabeth City State University and an MBA from Johns Hopkins Carey Business School.
