Student Disability Services

Johns Hopkins University and the Carey Business School are committed to making all academic programs, support services, and facilities accessible to persons with disabilities. To request accommodations, please contact Carey Student Disability Services.

Carey Student Disability Services works in conjunction with the Office of Institutional Equity. Carey Student Disability Services reviews documentation and works with students through an interactive process to ensure the best support and accommodation implementation for our students.

If you have questions or want to talk to someone at Carey Student Disability Services, please contact via e-mail, or fax (443-529-1552).

Requesting accommodations:

To begin the registration process with Student Disability Services and to establish eligibility for disability related accommodations and services, please complete and submit the SDS Online Registration Form and upload supporting documentation.

Once your form and documentation are received, the next step in the process will be a phone call with an SDS professional staff member to discuss your needs and potential accommodations. If you have any difficulty providing documentation or need more information about any aspect of the process, please contact
Carey.Disability@jhu.edu.

Please Note:
In addition to the registration form and documentation, Carey Student Disability Services staff will have a brief conversation with the student to ensure that the appropriate accommodations are requested and review the process for requesting and implementing accommodations.

Requesting accommodations for events:

Students attending non-classroom events are asked to notify Carey Student Disability Services three weeks before the event, when possible, when accommodations are needed.

Grievance procedures:
