Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging Summit 2022

The Johns Hopkins Carey Business School Annual Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging Summit was held from Wednesday, March 30th to Friday, April 1st. The focus of the summit was Intention, Action, & Accountability. Business leaders shared how DEIB initiatives are developed and driven through the organization. Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, and Belonging practitioners discussed the impact and success of fostering environments that are diverse, inclusive, and equitable and shared best practices to measure the success of DEI initiatives.

The Senior Executive Panelists includes Tony Lewis, Vice President Public Policy at Verizon, Robert Kirkland, Senior Executive at Stanley Black & Decker, Evette Creighton, Sr Manager, Talent, Inclusion, and Diversity at Transamerica, and LaTara Harris, Regional Director-External & Legislative Affairs at AT&T. The panel will be moderated by Alex Triantis, Dean Johns Hopkins Carey Business School, and Jill Green, Associate Dean, Johns Hopkins Carey Business School.

Summer Business Academy

An immersive experience for historically underrepresented undergraduate scholars.

To facilitate the growth and cultivation of diverse leaders in the region and beyond, the Carey Business School created the Summer Business Academy. Its goal is to support rising college juniors and seniors in their exploration of graduate-level business education by offering exposure to the latest management and leadership theory and applications.

The application deadline for the 2022 Summer Business Academy is May 2, 2022.
