Full-time Master of Science
How we work with full-time MS students
The Career & Life Design team partners closely with full-time Master of Science students. Our team helps you pursue your unique career goals, leverage your education, and assist you in creating a community within and beyond the Johns Hopkins ecosystem. We will work with you to build upon your professional and academic experience, skills, and interests to secure meaningful opportunities during and after your time at Carey.
Full-time Master of Science students benefit from:
-
- Peer Career Advisors work one-on-one and in small groups with students to provide on-site and virtual resume, cover letter, and LinkedIn profile support. Register in Handshake Events.
- Throughout your program and beyond, students partner in small groups and one-on-one with professional career coaches to gain greater focus, increase awareness of self and career options, and set and work toward professional goals.
- Available to all students and alumni, on-site and virtual.
- Coaching appointments with career coaches are scheduled through Handshake at a pace managed by students/alumnus.
“As a Peer Career Advisor, I work one-on-one with students, using our university's resources to create powerful resumes and compelling cover letters. Together, we discover their strengths, polish their professional stories, and guide them in their career paths. Moreover, through these interactions, I also learn and gain insights from their diverse experiences.”
