Exclusive to full-time Johns Hopkins MBA students, the Cedars-Sinai Pre-MBA Internship is an excellent opportunity for a prospective MBA student looking to drive innovation in the business of health.
Cedars-Sinai Transplant Administrative Fellow
During this 8-week internship program, one Johns Hopkins MBA student will work alongside business and health leaders at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, CA. This internship is within the Comprehensive Transplant Center, a leader in the transplant space. You will learn the mechanics of coordinating transplants through the modern health care environment and be mentored by clinical and administrative leaders.
Attend leadership meetings, meet with key stakeholders, and analyze cases facing the center. The internship culminates in a budget analysis and process improvement proposal to leadership.
Eligibility
This internship is available to one student in the full-time Johns Hopkins MBA, and will be completed in June and July 2023, prior to enrolling in the program for the first year of study. A stipend is awarded upon acceptance of the internship offer.
Competitive candidates have the following attributes:
- Interest in health care delivery or technology
- Interest in analytics and data-based decision making
- Three to five years’ work experience
- Intention to apply by Round 1 (October 26, 2022)
