Early Insights is a three-day in-person program in Kansas City for incoming 2028 MBA/Master’s students interested in investment management, offering mentorship, industry exposure, skill-building workshops, networking with senior leaders, and a guaranteed interview for the 2027 Summer Associate Investment Analyst Program.

Ignite@AG is a four-day summer externship in Boston for incoming MBA and Ph.D. students to explore careers in economic consulting through hands-on analytics projects, mentorship, networking, interview coaching, and exposure to Analysis Group’s consulting work and culture.

BCG Empower | Pre-MBA Program | Boston Consulting Group 

BCG Empower will host a virtual event on July 17, offering an early opportunity for MBA students to engage with BCG consultants.

BCG Unlock | Pre-MBA Summer Program | BCG Careers 

BCG Unlock is a virtual summer program for incoming MBA students that offers an early introduction to consulting at BCG through interactive sessions with consultants and leaders, professional development opportunities, and networking ahead of fall recruiting and internship season. 

Register Interest by May 18, 2026. 

BCG will host a series of virtual and in-person receptions across Asia Pacific, EMESA, and Mexico over the coming months, giving incoming MBA students the opportunity to learn more about BCG offices in their home countries while networking with future classmates and consultants.

Building and Supporting Excellence (BASE) is a pre-MBA program offering a week-long, in-person “BASE Camp” experience across U.S. offices where participants explore management consulting at Bain, build connections with consultants and affinity groups, and gain firsthand exposure to life as a Bain consultant.

Applications are due May 3, 2026.

This diversity pre-MBA fellowship is a merit-based program for high-potential underrepresented students that includes a $40,000 scholarship, a U.S. investment banking summer internship, and eligibility for a $35,000 post-MBA stipend upon successful completion of the internship and full-time employment.

The MBA Women’s Leadership Conference (June 26–27, 2026 in Atlanta) is a pre-MBA event connecting incoming MBA women and allies with top employers through networking, leadership development sessions, and recruiting-focused programming ahead of the official campus recruiting process.

Registration Deadline is June 5, 2026.

This free pre-MBA program (May 21–22, 2026 in New York City) is designed for admitted MBA students targeting Summer 2027 internships and provides insight into key industries, recruiting timelines, and the skills needed to succeed early in the MBA recruiting process.

Bridge is a virtual pre-MBA program featuring sessions on problem-solving, case interviews, and consulting, along with networking opportunities with L.E.K. consultants and senior leaders to help participants build foundational strategy consulting skills before business school.

Early Access is a pre-MBA program for incoming MBA students that offers virtual and in-person networking, mentorship, recruiting preparation, and exposure to consulting through connections with McKinsey consultants, affinity groups, and peers ahead of the fall recruiting season. 

Application deadline is May 15, 2026. 

Inspire 2026 is a virtual and in-person pre-MBA program in Chicago for incoming MBA students to connect with McKinsey’s Black, Hispanic and Latino, and Indigenous networks while developing consulting, leadership, and problem-solving skills through workshops, panels, networking, and interview preparation.

Application deadline is May 15, 2026. 

Reaching Out MBA (ROMBA) is a series of free, in-person summer networking experiences for newly admitted MBA students designed to explore industries, connect with peers and alumni, and engage with partner companies, taking place June 15–16 in Chicago, June 23–24 in New York City, and July 21, 2026 in Boston ahead of starting business school.

Applications are reviewed on a rolling-basis. Early registration is encouraged! 

This accelerated three-week pre-MBA internship program for incoming MBA students offers hands-on equity research experience, mentorship from investment professionals, exposure to portfolio management, and networking opportunities, culminating in a stock recommendation presentation.
