Foundations Week
Start your time at Carey Business School with Foundations Week. Network with your new peers, launch your career development, prepare for your courses with behavioral science and data science boot camps, and explore the world of experiential learning.
Career Development Day - This one-day event is an opportunity to expand your Carey network, identify professional development and career goals, and engage more fully with the entire Career Development team.
Data science boot camp - In this two-day boot camp, start learning to extract and communicate the business insights to lead using data. Build a working knowledge of advanced data analytics tools, a foundational understanding of the programming language R, and an awareness of data visualization techniques. Translate data-driven insights into business strategies.
Introduction to experiential learning - In this one-day immersion, travel into the Johns Hopkins ecosystem and work in teams to help a Johns Hopkins partner capitalize on a business opportunity.

Experiential learning is built into your MBA curriculum
All full-time MBA students take four experiential learning courses with the option to take additional courses. In the MBA signature course, Innovation Field Project, spend five weeks in the classroom and three weeks on-site at an organization to solve their complex business challenge.
