You’ve always wanted your MBA, but it has never been the right time in your life.

Whether you have work or family obligations, or both, it can be hard to find the time to fit a quality MBA education into your daily schedule. Online MBAs have come a long way in the past few years. We launched our online MBA program at the Johns Hopkins Carey Business School in 2015. And since then, we’ve taken a strong program and continuously made it stronger.

The world has changed drastically since the calendar turned to 2020.

The COVID-19 pandemic has caused us to pause and reexamine the way we do business and live our lives. As a result, this might be a “right time” for you to get your MBA online. We’ve compiled five reasons why there is no time like the present:

  1. Streamlining the application process (GRE/GMAT waivers now available). We’ve taken a hard look at our application process to ensure it is as streamlined as possible. As a result, we are waiving the GRE/GMAT exam for our fall 2020 and spring 2021 applicants. It has never been easier to apply to one of our part-time or online programs – find out for yourself!

  2. Stuck at home? No better time to commit. Admit it, you are nearing the end of your Netflix queue. Time used to be a constraint on getting your MBA. Now, you finally have the opportunity to dedicate your time and your brain power to advancing your career. And because our program is 100-percent online (including our residency programs), you don’t even have to leave the house.

  3. Online education is better than ever. Almost all of our online MBA and Master of Science students have never taken an online course before enrolling. And it can be understandably intimidating for traditional classroom learners. But at Johns Hopkins Carey Business School, we’ve been delivering online courses since 2015, improving our quality of course instruction and the overall experience every year. We are Johns Hopkins, and our online courses reflect the quality and rigor you expect from a world-renowned institution.

  4. Business school spurs innovation and entrepreneurship through networking. Many of our graduates go on to do big things. Sometimes that means starting a new business, other times it means a new job at a new company. Many of them develop these new opportunities by building relationships with fellow students, alumni, and faculty. Networking is a big part of the business school experience. And at Johns Hopkins, you’ll have the opportunity to meet students and 222,000 alumni from across the university, located all over the world.

  5. Companies are looking for leaders who can manage in uncertain times. Employers are looking for leaders who can manage during uncertain times. We know because we’ve asked, and we’ve built our programs and our school around the idea of building for what’s next. Now those skills of managing through times of change and transition are needed more than ever. We have a history at Johns Hopkins of innovation and impact. And at Carey, we are all about building for what’s next for you, and the business world.
