The Johns Hopkins Carey Business School is often contacted by private agencies and organizations with information regarding a variety of need-based and merit scholarships, grants and fellowships they offer. We maintain a list of these external funding opportunities on this scholarship e-bulletin board.
Since these scholarships are external to Carey, you must visit the websites to review the application requirements and deadlines. Please direct any questions about these funds to the contact provided on the fund website.

Abbott & Fenner are committed to continuing their efforts in helping those who have the desire and ambition to succeed. The $1,000 A&F scholarships are available to students age 30 and under who are currently registered in any accredited graduate institution.

The D.C. Chapter of the Accounting and Finance Women's Alliance offers an undergraduate/graduate scholarship opportunity for $1,500. The scholarship is offered to those majoring in accounting or finance and must have and maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0.

This $1000 scholarship essay contest is open to graduate and undergraduate students enrolled full-time and are over the age of 18. There is no cost to enter the contest. Winners will be notified via email.

The National Founder's Graduate Business Student Scholarship
This is a $500 stipend which will be awarded to a current full time U.S. graduate business student with a demonstrated interest in entrepreneurship. The award will be paid directly to the student and can be used for any expenses related to education, including but not limited to tuition, room, board, books, or commuting expenses.

DE-DC-MD ASFAA, INC.
The DE-DC-MD Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators has established a scholarship fund to award $1,000 annually for one student per member state who will attend an eligible institution within each member state. Applicants must demonstrate financial needs and meet minimum GPA requirements.

The Hispanic Scholarship Fund is one of the nation's leading organizations supporting Hispanic higher education. Scholarships range from $1,000 to $15,000. Applicants must be of Hispanic heritage and be enrolled full-time.

Our Family for Families First Foundation
The Our Family for Families First Foundation is proud to announce that each year they award 20 $5,000 grants to spouses of active-duty army soldiers stationed at Fort Meade, Md.; Fort Bragg, N.C.; Fort Polk, La.; Fort Rucker, Ala.; Fort Riley, Kan.; Fort Sill, Okla.; or Aberdeen Proving Ground, Md. who are in the pursuit of higher education.

Philanthropic Educational Organization
Philanthropic Educational Organization Program is pleased to offer grant assistance to women whose education has been interrupted and who have found it necessary to resume studies due to changing financial demands in their lives. PEO also offers the PEO International Peace Scholarship for international women students to pursue graduate study in the U.S. Award amounts range from $1500 to $10,000 annually.

Paul and Daisy Soros, Hungarian immigrants and American philanthropists, established their fellowship program for new Americans in December 1997 with a charitable trust of $50 million. The purpose of the Paul and Daisy Soros Fellowships for New Americans is to provide opportunities for continuing generations of able and accomplished new Americans to achieve leadership in their chosen fields.

Rehab Center - Addiction Awareness Scholarship
This scholarship is open to graduate or undergraduate students enrolled full-time at a U.S. postsecondary institution. U.S. citizens, U.S. Nationals, U.S. permanent residents, refugees, asylees, Cuban-Haitian entrants, and humanitarian parolees are eligible. Funds are for use toward tuition or educational expenses. There is no cost to enter the contest. Scholarship winners will be notified via email, and a public announcement of each winner will be made within 30 days of the announcement.

The Robert A. Toigo Foundation Fellowship
The Robert A. Toigo Foundation Fellowships are for minority professionals committed to careers in finance. The Fellowship offers a stipend of $5,000 per year towards your tuition for your two years, in addition to networking and mentorship opportunities. Eligible applicants include U.S. citizens and permanent residents who are also racial minorities as defined by the Department of Labor.

The mission of the Pat Tillman Foundation is to invest in veterans and their spouses through educational scholarships and building a diverse community of leaders committed to service to others. The Military Scholar Program offers financial assistance to service members, veterans, and their spouses to cover academic and living expenses while in school. You must pursue an undergraduate, graduate, or post-graduate degree as a full-time student at a public or private, 4-year, U.S. institution to qualify.
