Admission to other schools in the University

If you are a Carey Business School student who wishes to transfer to one of the other schools in the university (such as Engineering, Public Health, or Peabody), you are required to submit an admission application to that school. Admission to the Carey Business School establishes no claim or priority for admission to any other school in the university. Students interested in dual degree programs (programs that combine degrees from multiple Johns Hopkins schools or Johns Hopkins and one of our partner institutions) should visit our dual degree page for instructions on how to apply.

Admissions policies

Candidates cannot apply for more than one program in a single round. If offered admission, you must accept or decline by the deadline for that round. You cannot wait to make a decision on a first offer while applying for another program in the next round.

Applicants to the MS Finance program have the option to select Baltimore or Washington, DC as their preferred Carey location. We try our best to admit candidates to their preferred location, but do not guarantee it. Space in Washington, DC is limited and often fills following round two.
