Applications for the Design Leadership MA/MBA dual degree program must be submitted to Johns Hopkins Carey Business School. The admissions committees of both Carey and the Maryland Institute College of Art will review each application. See all application deadlines here.

Applications for the Doctor of Nursing (DNP) Executive Track / MBA dual degree program must be submitted to the Johns Hopkins School of Nursing. The admissions committees of both schools will review each application.

Students interested in the JD/MBA dual degree program must first apply for admissions to the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law. Once a student is admitted, they can apply directly to the Johns Hopkins Carey Business School. Current Maryland Carey Law students apply to the full-time MBA during their first year in law school and start MBA classes in year two of the program. Carey Business School guarantees admissions to Maryland Carey Law students with a 3.0 GPA at the law school.

The MBA/Bachelor's in Engineering dual degree program is open to undergraduate students at the Johns Hopkins Whiting School of Engineering in their third year of study. The program schedule is particularly advantageous for students in the Applied Mathematics and Statistics program and the Computer Science program, but it is open to all students seeking a Bachelor's in Engineering.

Applications for the MBA / Master of Public Health dual degree program must be submitted to the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. The admissions committees of both schools will review each application. Admission decisions are communicated by Bloomberg.

If you have already been accepted into the Master of Public Health program and you would like to be considered for the MBA/Master of Public Health program, please send a brief written statement of your intentions via email to the Master of Public Health program at mphprog@jhsph.edu. Prospective students must submit an application for the Full-time MBA from the Johns Hopkins Carey Business School and an application for the MA in International Relations from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies. However, most students apply to the Full-time MBA in the first year and submit an application to the MA in International Relations ahead of Year 2 of the dual degree program.

Applications for the MD/MBA dual degree program must be submitted to the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. You'll indicate your interest in the dual degree on the medical school application. Carey Business School guarantees admissions to students admitted to the M.D. program and the School of Medicine notifies us when an MD/MBA applicant has been offered M.D. admission. You'll receive your medical school admissions first and Carey will follow up with our admission offer shortly thereafter.
Through the generosity of Dr. Andrew Klein, MD '79, MBA '02, Carey Business School has special funding for up to two $25,000 scholarships for MD/MBA students. Applicants will be considered for this funding in addition to other Carey scholarship programs.
