CURRICULUM

The dual degree includes 18 MBA courses and 12 MS in Biotechnology courses. MBA coursework covers core disciplines like finance, accounting, strategy, analytics, and leadership. Biotechnology coursework includes required core classes in molecular biology, biochemistry, and bioinformatics, plus electives in areas such as regulatory science, drug discovery, and entrepreneurship.

You’ll choose from four concentration or general elective courses in areas such as bioinformatics, regulatory sciences, or biotechnology enterprise.

Students in the MBA/MS in Biotechnology program can customize their degree by choosing from specializations in both programs. Carey’s Flexible MBA offers eight in-demand specializations including Artificial Intelligence for Business, Business Analytics and Risk Management, Entrepreneurship, Finance, Health Care Management, Leadership, Marketing, or Real Estate.

The MS in Biotechnology offers specializations in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, Regulatory Science, Drug Discovery, and Biotech Entrepreneurship.
