Lauren Juanita Hines works as a full-time consultant delivering project management and strategic planning expertise to clients in the United States federal government. Prior to serving federal clients, Lauren worked with nonprofit organizations (also commonly known as NGOs) in fundraising and executive leadership. This work involved building sustainable contributed revenue strategies, managing multi-million-dollar grant portfolios, and managing special events including gala celebrations at the United States Supreme Court, the United States Chamber of Commerce, the Organization of American States, and other premiere venues in Washington, DC. She began her nonprofit career in the performing arts as a stage manager and administrator for opera and theater.

Lauren Hines is active in the DC-area community and is a member of several professional associations. She has been a volunteer member of several Board Committees for the Project Management Institute DC chapter (PMI-WDC), including their Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Committee and the Nominating Committee. She is a certified yoga instructor and a member of the MidAtlantic Facilitators Network (MAFN). She has been a mentor with the Young Nonprofit Professionals Network DC Chapter (YNPNdc) and the Association of Fundraising Professionals DC Chapter (AFP-DC). She has served in various civic appointments for leadership in the arts, including the Ohio Department of Education, the Maryland State Arts Council, and the DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities.
