Using design thinking to improve patient experiences

Carey's Sharon Kim and Christopher Myers comment in Harvard Business Review

The creative strategies of design thinking have been applied in a variety of professional fields, including health care, specifically in the development of products and the design of spaces.

"If more leaders embrace design thinking," the article states, "they can leverage a deeper understanding of patients ... , achieving better clinical outcomes, improved patient experience, and lower costs along the way."
