Amit Rikhy is president and chief executive officer of CAG Holdings, LLC, the Carlyle Group’s dedicated U.S.-based investment arm for airport infrastructure investment opportunities globally, and a portfolio company of the Carlyle Global Infrastructure Opportunity Fund. He has over 25 years of airport investment and management experience and has led over 50 airport P3 transactions globally, including key U.S. airport P3 transactions.

Rikhy is currently leading the $9.5 billion redevelopment of Terminal 1 at New York’s JFK International Airport—the largest aviation public-private partnership in U.S. history. He is also chair of Reach Airports, a U.S.-based consulting, training, and operations and maintenance services to North American airports. He also serves on the board of London Southend Airport in the U.K. Before founding CAG, Rikhy was the president and CEO of CCR USA, CCR Group’s international subsidiary. At CCR USA, he led the transformation of Total Airport Services, a U.S.-based airport services company in key gateway markets, while serving on the board and working closely with company management.

Prior to CCR USA, he was founder and CEO of Sigma Infrastructure Partners. He was also senior vice president at Airports Worldwide, where he served as a director on all of AW’s airport boards and chairman of TBI U.S. Operations, which included five management contracts at US airports and a long-term lease at Orlando Sanford, one of the first U.S. airport P3s. His experience also includes leading airport transactions and asset management globally for Vantage Airport Group, where he was instrumental in the development of a global airport portfolio and Airport Group International, a company formed by Lockheed Martin and Soros Capital, GE Capital, and Bechtel Enterprises.

Rikhy holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from University of Virginia (Echols Scholar) and a master’s degree in business, concentration in finance from Johns Hopkins Carey School of Business (Stegman Award Recipient). He resides in Washington, D.C.
