Adway Kanhere, MSE

Adway joined Carey School of Business as an instructor in 2024. He brings industry experience as a biomedical software engineer at the University of Maryland where he led engineering initiatives to automate radiological workflows using AI.

Prior to UM, Adway was the Co-founder and CTO of FarmPlus, a startup pioneering IoT monitoring solutions for dairy farm operations. FarmPlus was the winner of the prestigious Johns Hopkins NewVenture Challenge in 2022 and was incubated at the JHTV Spark Incubator.

In the classroom, Adway instructs Big Data Machine Learning, and his research interests include applying foundational and emerging machine learning techniques for applications in healthcare and business operations.
