It’s was a pleasure to bring Carey alumnus Kevin Vance back on campus to have an in-depth conversation on How to Sell Yourself. Kevin has more than 20 years of experience in IT sales and account management with a number of leading tech firms, including Hewlett Packard, VMware, IBM, Hitachi and now Red Hat. Kevin is here to provide insights into IT sales and beyond, as many non-sales roles also require sales skills. What does Kevin enjoy about this profession? How to be successful? In addition to IT sales, what are the lessons in sales that students can apply when it comes to job interview, networking and promotion?
