Access the entire Johns Hopkins University talent network, free of charge, through the Handshake portal. Register for an account and visit the Handshake Help Center to guide you along the way.

On-campus interviewing

To request an on-campus interview, log into Handshake and click “Request a date for on-campus interviews.”  Our team will reach out to connect and schedule your visit. 

Information sessions and corporate presentations

Host an information session on campus, virtually, or at your office to identify and meet interested candidates, market your organization, and advertise jobs and internships. Increase student interest and brand visibility by scheduling sessions that convey your company's unique value proposition and hiring needs.

Employer treks

Treks are an effective way to showcase your company and get to know Carey Business School students.  Students learn about your company’s mission, culture, industry and environment while you build a pipeline of future talent. For more information on treks click here.

Coffee chats

Network with students in a casual, one-on-one setting to share insights on your company, industry, function or general career advice. This is an ideal way to discover a student’s potential fit with your company. Coffee chats typically last 15-30 minutes and are scheduled by appointment.

Internship fair

Carey Business School’s internship fair in the spring semester connects internship seeking students with employers and startups seeking temporary hires. Register through Handshake.

MBA Summit

The MBA Summit is an event for thought leaders to share professional development insights with Carey Business School’s full and part-time MBA students.

Speaking, networking, and branding opportunities

Carey Business School hosts many career education and professional connection events throughout the academic year. We can help you create brand awareness while connecting with students through speaking engagements, presentations, and other partnerships with Carey Business School faculty, staff, and student clubs. Contact the Career Development Office to discuss options and upcoming events. 

Connect with student organizations

Student organizations at Carey Business School connect students with similar interests with each other and potential employers. Customize your engagement

As an alternative to traditional recruiting events, you can customize an event to fit your specific recruiting needs and interests. Your event will be coordinated and managed by Career Development Office staff. Past events have included employer pop-ups on campus, lunch and learns, happy hours, faculty and classroom connections, student club collaboration, expert panel discussions, and more.
