Oksana Carlson
Oksana Carlson is associate dean for global collaborations. She joined the Johns Hopkins Carey Business School in 2009 to provide leadership for the full-time MBA program. In the following years, she served in leadership roles to oversee Master of Science programs and Carey’s international initiatives. Since 2014, she has focused on Asia, overseeing the strategic initiatives, academic collaboration, expansion of Carey’s employer network, and programmatic activities for prospective students.
Prior to joining Carey, Carlson held management positions, focused on program development and international strategy development, with both nonprofit and for-profit organizations including the George Washington University, Johns Hopkins Medicine International, Hyundai, and others. In her 15 years of experience, she developed and managed education and training programs, and consulting projects in more than 18 countries in Asia, Latin America, and Africa.
She received Doctor of Education degree in international education from the University of Minnesota, an MBA in International Business from the George Washington University, and BA/MA in Marketing from the Far Eastern National University in Russia. She also completed leadership training programs at the Academy of Commerce in Trento, Italy, and the Japan Productivity Center in Tokyo, Japan.
