Johns Hopkins Carey Business School Appoints New Vice Dean for Corporate and Global Partnerships
The Johns Hopkins Carey Business School has appointed Richard R. Smith, PhD, as vice dean for corporate and global partnerships. In this newly established role, Smith will develop and oversee Carey’s collaborations with other academic institutions and businesses. Smith will also serve as a professor of practice on the Carey Business School faculty.
Carey Business School works with a number of academic institutions and corporate partners to develop degree programs, conduct executive training for employees, recruit talent, and address business challenges through research and experiential learning opportunities for students. Most recently, Carey Business School reimagined its MBA program and continues to take innovative approaches to business education. In 2021, the school became the first U.S.-based member of the Future of Management Education (FOME) Alliance. The alliance, which includes 10 business schools, creates a collaborative platform for new high quality online learning.
