A 14-year veteran of the of the energy industry, Melissa is the Chief of Staff at Constellation, Exelon’s competitive retail and wholesale business. Constellation is responsible for the marketing of electricity, natural gas and other energy-related products and services to its wholesale, commercial, industrial, and residential customers, as well as ensuring the optimization of Exelon’s generation portfolio by obtaining maximum value for power produced while managing risk for the company and its shareholders. Constellation has a business presence in 48 states, Washington, D.C., and parts of Canada.

Prior to serving as Chief of Staff, Melissa managed the Mid-Atlantic Sales Support team, where she was responsible for leading the Account Management team through proactive renewal and sales strategies as well as helping to handle post-deal customer issues. Before that, Melissa served as the Mid-Atlantic Sales Support supervisor leading the Business Development Specialist team through the pre-deal sales process. Following the Constellation-Exelon merger, Melissa was an account manager working directly with a member of the sales team and assisted in managing a portfolio of commercial real estate customers in the DC and MD area. Prior to the merger, Melissa served as a pricing analyst where she priced and validated energy contracts for Constellation retail customers.

Melissa has a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Economics from Towson University and a Master of Science degree in Applied and Computational Mathematics from Johns Hopkins University.
