Carey Career Exchange (CCx), powered by 12Twenty, is your central hub for managing career planning and taking action—book coaching sessions, access career preparation resources, register for employer, industry and networking events, apply for internship and job postings, pro-bono consulting opportunities, and access employment data all in one place.

Student access to CCx
- Visit the CCx login page
- Select “Login with your Current Student SSO Login”
- Click “Profile” in the top left navigation to update your information and unlock the most relevant opportunities
Alumni access to CCx
- Complete the Carey Career Exchange (CCx) Request Form and select "Carey Alumnus/a" and "Account Creation".
- Once you receive email confirmation that the account has been created - please give 2 business days to allow for this manual process, visit the CCx login page and click "Sign up for an account"
- Use the email associated with your request, create a password, agree to the terms and conditions, click the blue button to finish - and you're done!

Handshake
Students and alumni also have access to Handshake, the all-JHU career platform, for additional JHU-wide events, resources, and job/internship opportunities. Be sure to regularly check Handshake for opportunities.
Student access to Handshake
- Visit the Handshake login page
- Select “Johns Hopkins University Sign On”
- Enter your JHED login ID and password
- Click “My Profile” in the top right to update your information and unlock the most relevant opportunities.
Alumni access to Handshake
If you’re a Carey alumnus interested in becoming an employer partner, visit the Handshake Employer Partner webpage for more information.
If you graduated from Johns Hopkins Carey Business School during or after 2014:
- Email [email protected] with your alumni email address. Include your full legal name as it appeared during your time at Carey, your degree, and your graduation date
- Once you receive confirmation that your account has been updated, reset your password as follows:
- Visit the https://jhu.joinhandshake.com/password_resets/new
- Follow the instructions sent to your email
If you graduated from Johns Hopkins Carey Business School before 2014:
- Visit the Account Registration page
- Select “Student / Alumni” under account type
- Under school, select “Johns Hopkins Carey Business School”
- Enter your profile information
- Select “Create Account”
How to log in after your account has been updated or created:
- Visit the Handshake Login page
- Select “Sign in with your email address”, below the blue box for Current Students
- Enter your email address and select “Next”
- Select “Or log in using your Handshake credentials”, below the blue box for Current Students
- Enter your email address and password
- Click “My Profile” on the top right
- Update your profile by adding a photo, indicating your career interests, and uploading your resume
- Begin searching hundreds of jobs and internships and register for career coaching sessions
