Jonathan Chambers has worked in the commercial real estate/economic development sector for more than a decade.   Since July 2023, Jonathan Chambers has served as Policy Analyst at the District of Columbia's Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO), specifically in the the Economic Development Finance (EDF) group which administers the District of Columbia's TIF (Tax Increment Financing) and PILOT (Payment-In-Lieu-Of-Taxes) subsidy programs.

Jonathan underwrites complex economic development projects that request TIFs, PILOTs, and other abatements or subsidies such as mixed-use real estate developments, major-league sports facilities, and entertainment venues. He also advises the Executive Office of the Mayor and District of Columbia Council on specific policy options for such projects.

Prior to his tenure at OCFO, Jonathan served at Delta Associates—the research and consulting subsidiary of commercial real estate services company Transwestern. As Vice President, Jonathan provided national/regional macroeconomic analysis to the firm's clients and was editor of Delta’s quarterly Washington/Baltimore office market and condo market reports. He also served as project director of consulting engagements across a broad spectrum of real estate advisory services for private and public sector clients in the Baltimore-Washington area and across the United States.
