Known as a “global leader in flavor,” Charles T. (Chuck) Langmead, spent 38 years in numerous roles of increasing responsibility in sales, finance, and marketing with McCormick & Co. Langmead retired from McCormick as president for global industrial business in 2014 and served on McCormick's Management Committee, its highest leadership team, for seven years. In most recent position, Langmead was responsible for the $1.8 billion Global Industrial and Food Service business representing 40 percent of the total corporation sales and four of the five largest global customers for the total company.
During his tenure, he pioneered the company’s diversity initiative as chairman of the company's first Diversity Council and is an Emeritus member of the Multiple Management Board, McCormick's acclaimed professional development system.
Langmead also serves on the board of the United Way of Central Maryland and is chairman of the board for the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Baltimore. He is also a member of the board of sponsors for Loyola University Maryland's Sellinger School of Business and Management, and he is a past member of the International Foodservice Manufacturing Association and the board of directors of the Restaurant Association of Maryland.
Langmead earned a BBA from Loyola University of Maryland and an MAS from the Johns Hopkins University.
