Alec Brandon is an Assistant Professor at the Johns Hopkins Carey Business School. His research focus is behavioral economics. Using a variety of empirical methods, Alec's has studied the long-term effectiveness of nudges, the extent of racial profiling in policing, and whether rideshare drivers target a daily level of earnings. His research has been published in leading journals like Science and the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences. Prior to joining Carey, Alec received his PhD, MA, and BA in Economics from the University of Chicago.
