Southeastern Health Economics Study Group Conference

Planning is now underway for the 18th Annual Southeastern Health Economics Study Group Conference to be held on October 8th and 9th, 2021 in Baltimore, Maryland. The sponsor for this year’s event will be the Johns Hopkins Carey Business School. Our intention is to host an in-person conference. In the event that COVID-19 restricts our ability to safely host an in-person event, we will pivot to a virtual format. The final decision will be made two months prior to the event.       

Ten papers will be accepted for presentation.  The conference will consist of a full day of presentations on October 8th and a half-day of presentations on October 9th.  Each paper will be allotted one hour, including 30 minutes for presentation, and 30 minutes for discussant comments and discussion from the floor.  The number of participants in the conference will be limited. It is expected that participants will read the papers prior to the conference, and attend all sessions. While submissions are invited from any geographical location, preference will be given to presenters from the Southeastern region of the United States.
