The China India Insights Program (CIIP) at the Yale School of Management and the Johns Hopkins University Carey Business School are co-organizing the 16th annual China India Insights Conference on September 24–26, 2026.
The conference will start with a reception on Thursday evening, September 24 and end late afternoon on Saturday, September 26. There will be a celebratory dinner on Friday, September 25. In collaboration with the China India Insights Program at the Yale School of Management, the conference will be hosted at Carey Business School’s Baltimore location, 100 International Drive, Baltimore, Maryland, 21202.
This annual conference serves as a forum for academic scholars and research practitioners from diverse disciplines to share the best available research on both consumer and firm behavior related to China and India – two of the world’s largest and fastest growing emerging markets. Research on other emerging markets is also welcome.
Researchers interested in presenting a paper should submit abstracts one to two pages in length and double-spaced in pdf format with the pdf labeled with the last name of the presenting author. You may also submit a full-length paper if that is available. Please include the title of the paper, name, affiliation, mailing and email addresses of the authors. Please specify who will be the presenting author. Abstracts should be sent to [email protected] by June 15, 2026. Chosen presenters will be notified by July 15, 2026.
Abstracts will be reviewed by a program committee comprised of Rajesh Chandy (London Business School), Mandy Hu (Chinese University of Hong Kong), Pranav Jindal (Indian School of Business), Rupali Kaul (INSEAD), and Yue Wu (University of Pittsburgh).
