Roger A. Waesche, Jr. is president and chief executive officer of Corporate Office Properties Trust (COPT). Waesche was elected trustee in April 2012. Waesche has served as COPT’s president since September 2010 after holding the position of executive vice president since January 2004 and the position of senior vice president from September 1998 through December 2003. Waesche was COPT’s chief operating officer from August 2006 through September 2011, after serving as chief financial officer since March 1999.

Waesche has more than 25 years of real estate investment, operations and financing experience. He has obtained more than $1.5 billion of real estate and corporate fi nancing and has been directly responsible for or overseen more than $2 billion of investments.

Waesche earned a BA in accounting and an MBA in finance from Loyola University Maryland. Waesche is a member of the Maryland Industrial Development Finance Authority, a board member of the Economic Alliance of Greater Baltimore, the Greater Baltimore Committee and a member of the Board of Sponsors of the Sellinger School of Business and Management at Loyola University Maryland.
