Eric Jones, MS ’08

Eric is a business development leader in AT&T’s National Security segment, responsible for identifying, pursuing, and winning strategic opportunities aligned to corporate AT&T capabilities, revenue, and margin targets. He also leads the capture and proposal efforts for agreed-upon engagements, including professional services and core network transformation, wireless (5G, IOT, mobility), and cybersecurity opportunities.

In his previous role with Gartner, he served as the Senior Account Executive for the Joint DoD and Intelligence Community region. Prior to Gartner worked at Booz Allen Hamilton, where he served as Senior Associate in the role of Chief Technologist for cyber security supporting NASA, the Department of Justice, and US Intelligence Community partners. In 2011, Mr. Jones was acknowledged by the U.S. Black Engineer and Technology Magazine as a Modern-Day Technology Leader for engineering cyber security solutions that enhanced the security of DoD programs and missions.

Mr. Jones received his bachelor’s degree in information systems from Virginia State University and a master’s in telecommunications sciences from Johns Hopkins University. He is a doctoral candidate pursuing a Doctor of Business Administration-Business Intelligence at Marymount University.
