How we work with alumni

Career & Life Design support does not stop when your program ends. It continues well after graduation, offering you access to lifelong career resources, personalized coaching, alumni networking opportunities, and continuous learning resources to help you grow throughout every stage of your professional journey.

Alumni can benefit from the following resources:

Online career resources and tools
1:1 career coaching and consultation
  • Alumni within one calendar year of graduation are eligible for unlimited 1:1 coaching appointments
  • After one calendar year from graduation, alumni are eligible for up to two 1:1 Career Consult appointments (up to 50 minutes each) with a Carey Career Coach
  • All coaching appointments should be scheduled through Handshake by navigating to “Career Center” then “Appointments.” (Refer to the “Alumni Handshake Account” instructions above)
Recruitment and executive search
  • Alumni are encouraged to explore the extensive industry-specific job boards, recruitment and networking resources, and executive search firms to support a strategic job search. While Carey Employer Relations and Career & Life Design staff do not serve as executive search recruiters or a direct sourcing/referral source, alumni have access to a list of identified resources through the Industry-Specific Job Boards and Search Firms section of Carey Alumni Career Resources on Demand
