Regional alumni groups
Johns Hopkins Carey Business School has established regional alumni clubs in Greater Boston, Beijing, Chicago, Denver, Korea, Los Angeles, Mid-Atlantic, Greater New York City, San Francisco Bay Area, and Shanghai. If your region does not currently have a club, there may be a Johns Hopkins chapter in the area. Key initiatives for the clubs include:
- Supporting current students by hosting student treks or connecting with student organizations
- Supporting the Admissions and Career Development Offices, including volunteering at MBA fairs, speaking with prospective and admitted students, and sharing career insights with current students
- Serving as alumni ambassadors by encouraging Carey students and alumni to attend events and connect with fellow alumni
- Participating in philanthropy to support key initiatives of Carey and build on the philanthropic legacy of William P. Carey
- Assisting in the continuous building of the alumni community in that region
Alumni affinity networks
Established in March 2020, the Women’s Alumni Network was created to support and cultivate relationships among alumnae of the school.
The Women’s Alumni Network aims to cultivate connections between Johns Hopkins Carey Business School alumnae, students, and faculty and to provide a forum that supports women participating in, leading, and developing businesses through activities that foster professional and personal development.

The Black Alumni Network was established in 2019 to serve as a community and resource for the growth and advancement of students and graduates who identify as black.
The network is committed to:
- Maintaining a network of active alumni
- Creating new opportunities for graduates
- Enhancing the student experience and fostering student growth
- Recruiting prospective students
- Serving communities of color

The Ner Israel Alumni Network aims to further the partnership and enhance the student experience through networking, mentoring and career development, and program stewardship.
Since January 2018, Johns Hopkins Carey Business School has offered degree and non-degree certificate programs to students who have completed most of their studies at Ner Israel Rabbinical College. This continues a longstanding collaboration that dates back decades, even before the founding of Carey Business School in 2007.

Established in June 2020, the Business of Health Alumni Network was created to further synergies and cross-collaboration among stakeholders and participants in the health industry.
The Business of Health Alumni Network offers professionals across all sectors of health the opportunity to connect with Carey alumni, students, faculty thought-leaders, and industry partners. The network aims to position Johns Hopkins Carey Business School as a leading voices in the business of health, leveraging the expertise of its members to share meaningful insights, accelerate career growth, and highlight the impact of the Carey community within the health ecosystem.

Established in 2022, the Real Estate Alumni Network aims to bring together students, alumni, faculty, and real estate industry partners through programming, events, and mentorship opportunities.
The network leverages the expertise of its members to strengthen Carey’s real estate community and highlights Carey’s efforts in educating future leaders in the industry.

The Veterans Alumni Network (VAN) is dedicated to building meaningful connections and fostering a supportive community for Carey veterans. Established in 2026, the Veterans Alumni Network supports an inclusive and empowered business community by promoting engagement, mentorship, and professional development opportunities for veterans and those connected to the veteran community.

Johns Hopkins Carey Business School alumni groups thrive thanks to the commitment of our alumni volunteers. These groups strengthen a global professional network by connecting with each other and with the school. Their responsibilities include:

- Promoting events and helping recruit additional volunteers
