Professor Rick Smith brings a practice orientation to leveraging research as a means to help address global human capital development challenges. He serves as the faculty director of the HCD Lab and spearheads its research agenda and thematic programming. The core team also includes faculty members, researchers, and graduate student fellows who come from various disciplines at Johns Hopkins University.
