Somb Adhikari earned three graduate degrees in Aerospace Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, and Computer/Data Science from City University of NY, Temple University, and Stanford University respectively.  He is a Certified Professional Contract Manager, Certified AI Systems Architect, Certified Information Systems Auditor, and a Certified Data Privacy Solutions Engineer. 

Professor Adhikari serves a member of the board of directors at Sysoft Corp, a software-as-a-service AI development and deployment company, since 1991. He is author of several text books and peer-reviewed journal articles, and serves as a keynote speaker in major AI and data science conferences. Professor Adhikari is a well known AI/data science consultant for the last the 30 years and has provided consulting services to AT&T, Verizon, American Express, IBM, Google, Microsoft, Boeing, NASA, BMW, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Johnson & Johnson, OpenAI, Truist Bank, Golman Sachs, and many other companies.  

He is the chief architect of Sysoft AI powered SaaS platforms serving the supply chain, logistics, contract management, spend analytics, and intelligent sourcing platforms. Professor Adhikari served as the chair of Software Technical Committee and Aerospace Cybersecurity Working Group at the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics leading major software initiatives of NASA, Boeing, Lockheed Martin, and other Aerospace Companies. Professor Adhikari also served as the chair of Sematech Advanced AI Development Environment leading software engineers from IBM, AT&T, AMD, Apple, NVIDIA, Intel, Motorola, and others.
