Nazli Turken is an Associate Professor of Practice at the Johns Hopkins Carey Business School. She received her Ph.D. in Operations Management and M.S. in Industrial Engineering from the University of Florida. She also holds a B.S. in Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering from the Pennsylvania State University. Her research interests include the impact of environmental regulations on supply chain decisions, the interface of industrial symbiosis, circular economy, biomimicry and operations management, and the role of emerging technologies on market evolution. She has taught business analytics courses at the undergraduate, MBA and doctoral levels, and interned at companies such as the Coca-Cola Bottlers of Turkey, Siemens-Yazaki Wiring Technologies, and Renault Automotive Systems.
