Today, Akinrimisi is nearing completion of his medical degree at the University of California San Diego Medical School. His program afforded him an opportunity to also complete a master’s program at any institution. He chose to pursue an MS in Health Care Management from the Johns Hopkins Carey Business School.

“[Carey] highlighted business within medicine, but they also put emphasis on humanity within medicine,” said Akinrimisi. “Carey has helped me become a good health advocate, and with that I can go back into the medical field and create strategies that are able to tend to the needs of the community.”
