Demere G. Woolway (any pronoun) is an educator and leader with nearly two decades of experience advancing inclusive, intentional, and evidence-based initiatives in higher education. At Johns Hopkins University, Miami University, and Washington State University, Demere has led efforts that foster community, develop leaders, and promote dialogue across difference. Their work integrates strategy, strengths-based team development, and systems design to strengthen student support, alumni engagement, and institutional effectiveness.
Demere holds a Ph.D. in Student Affairs in Higher Education from Miami University and previously co-chaired the Consortium of Higher Education LGBT Resource Professionals. Their practice is grounded in equitable partnerships and collaboration.
