David Rosenberg is a managing director and senior portfolio manager for Harbor Group International's real estate securities funds. He is responsible for the day-to-day implementation of the investment strategy while overseeing the investment team, trading operation, and research process.
Prior to joining HGI in 2013, Rosenberg was a senior vice president and associate portfolio manager with CBRE Investment Management, formerly CBRE Clarion Securities, and a director, portfolio manager, and a founding member of its predecessor, CBRE Global Real Estate Securities from 2004 to 2013. At CBRE, Rosenberg primarily focused on the research and financial analysis of public real estate companies in the U.S. and Canada as well as portfolio management.
His past experience includes serving as a real estate securities analyst in the equity research department of Legg Mason and as a senior accountant in the real estate practice of American Express Tax & Business Services, where he functioned in various roles involving real estate financial analysis, valuation, and capital markets activity from 2000 to 2004. Though inactive, Rosenberg is a Certified Public Accountant and is active in several nonprofit organizations.
