Black, Hispanic, and Indian Association

The Black, Hispanic, and Indian Association (BHIA) is committed to enhancing the experience of underrepresented students of color by increasing recruitment, expanding professional development opportunities, and creating a network of students pursuing advanced degrees at Johns Hopkins University.

BHIA supports the recruitment of diverse candidates and is open to all Carey students and others within the Johns Hopkins Community who supports its mission. Our primary objective is to provide tools and skills for our members to become successful business leaders of color while collaborating with organizations within the Hopkins Community and the Baltimore area. Lastly, BHIA strives to create a relationship with Carey Alumni with a specific emphasis on the Black Alumni Network (BAN).
