Ceremony

Is the Carey Business School August 2020 graduation ceremony canceled?
Carey Business School is holding a virtual graduation ceremony scheduled for Thursday, August 6, 2020 at 2:00 PM EST.
 
Why is the ceremony virtual?
The decision to cancel all in-person graduation ceremonies at Johns Hopkins was made to protect the health and safety of our graduates and their families.  A virtual ceremony will be held to create a meaningful and celebratory recognition of our candidates’ accomplishments. 

How do I participate in the virtual ceremony?
Email communication has been sent to Summer 2020 degree candidates with information on how graduates can participate in the virtual ceremony.

Is the virtual ceremony mandatory?
No, the virtual ceremony is not mandatory.
 
Should I cancel my travel arrangements?
There is no need to travel to Baltimore as all in-person graduation celebrations for August 2020 have been canceled. Please work directly with your travel provider to find out their policies regarding refunds or rescheduling.
 

Diploma

All diplomas for Summer 2020 graduates will be mailed. Please see the Diploma FAQ page for information and deadlines.

Regalia

Graduation ceremony regalia (cap and gown) is not required for the virtual ceremony, but you are welcome to purchase one for commemorative purposes. You may go to this link to purchase regalia: www.jhu.shopoakhalli.com. Please know that any orders placed at this time are final sale and will not be eligible for a refund of any kind.
