Social & Political Economics Conference

Influence and the Media

April 20 and 21, 2018

Please join us for the second annual conference in the Social and Political Economics series, a joint endeavor of Johns Hopkins University’s Krieger School of Arts and Sciences and the Johns Hopkins Carey Business School.

The theme of this year’s conference is “Influence and the Media.” Speakers from leading universities, with expertise in disciplines including economics, marketing, and political science, will make presentations during the two-day event. They will provide both theoretical and empirical perspectives on influence, with a focus on both traditional and digital media.

Organizers of the conference are Assistant Professor Ying Chen of JHU’s Krieger School of Arts and Sciences and Assistant Professor Itay Fainmesser of the Johns Hopkins Carey Business School.
