Ronald Stimeare joined the Johns Hopkins Carey Business School in 2017 as an adjunct instructor. His vast experience includes being a recognized senior leader with experience at the strategic, operational, and tactical levels of government, as well as with military, public, and nonprofit organizations. These include: technical director and division chief for the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) providing Global DoD IT systems, services, and support; and colonel in the United States Army, leading and supporting diverse missions. Stimeare’s diverse work experience also spans both the public and private sector, including local and county law enforcement; “Training with Industry” within corporate America; and chaplaincy experience in the areas of correctional institutions, nursing homes, and county-level hospitals. He received an MS degree with a major in Strategic Studies from the Army War College, an MS degree with a major in Administration/Business from Central Michigan University, and an MS degree with a major in Christian Care from Capital Seminary. At Carey, he has taught Business Leadership and Human Values.
